HSE OSCILLOGRAPHIC THERMO RECORDER MARK VII-C for HSE Couplers Series 500

The Graphtec oscillographic recorder, as modified by HSE based on the long-established Mark Vll, now conforms to the EU standards for the CE mark. The complete range of HSE couplers for applications in physiological and pharmacological research continues to be available. Based on this recorder, complete easily-used recording systems can be assembled using HSE couplers and suitable transducers.
Advantages:

  • The recording traces are immediately visible, even at slow chart speeds. This is not the case on thermal array recorders.
  • Highly accurate recording systems (±0.5%) with a large frequency range (90 Hz at 10 mm writing width). Bench housing with horizontal chart movement.
  • Suitable for roll or fanfold chart.
  • The stepping motor chart drive ensures accurate chart speeds (±0.2%, ±0.5 mm).

Input signal and amplifier
On this recorder the maximum permitted input voltage is limited to ±50 Volt. Original Graphtec preamplifiers can not be used on the Mark VII-C since they can operate also at dangerous input voltages up to ±500 Volt. This recorder is normally equipped with HSE voltage couplers Type 583 which offer a wide input voltage range from 25 mV/cm to 1 V/cm. When working with other HSE couplers (e.g pressure, differentiating, integrating, ECG ... couplers) these are fitted instead of the voltage coupler. Apart from special input amplifiers, e.g. ECG input, each coupler also includes a universal voltage input so that external signals can be fed in. The input sensitivity can be switched between 25, 50 and 100 mV/cm.
