Light Meter Pod

The Light Meter Pod is supplied with the MLT331 Light Meter Probe and is used for monitoring light intensity (200 lux - 200 klux). The Pod and Probe are not intended for any clinical or diagnostic use. The Light Meter Pod connects to any PowerLab hardware units with Pod ports (8-pin DIN inputs). PowerLab units without Pod ports require the FE305 Pod Expander.

The MLT331 Light Meter Probe is a fast response, directional specific, visible light meter probe. It contains a fast response silicon photodiode that is active in the visible region of the RF spectrum, and produces a voltage that is proportional to the logarithm of the incident light intensity. The probe is fitted with a BNC connector. It is used with the ML330 Light Meter Pod.

The Light Meter Pod is supported by the following versions of LabChart and Scope software:

WINDOWS

• LabChart v3.4.8 or later\
• Scope v3.6.3 or later

MACINTOSH

• LabChart v3.6.3 or later
• Scope v3.6.3 or later

Note: Earlier software versions do not support Pods.

Stacking and Unstacking Pods:

Pods stack by clicking into place on top of each other. To separate stacked Pods, push the top Pod towards the back and then pull them apart from the back.
