Durable polycarbonate cages designed to house tethered rodents during short-term infusion and microdialysis experiments. Since the cage is round, tethers will not tangle as they sometimes can in shoebox-type cages. Also, animals are less likely to dislodge sensitive probes since there are no sharp corners. Handles at the top make it easy to move the animal around the lab.

These Animal Cages are frequently used with Counter-Balanced Lever Arms but are also compatible with the 61-0020 Universal Cage Mounting System. This cage is available in two sizes and can be supplied with any combination of feeders and water bottles. Pictured is a complete animal infusion system featuring our PHD ULTRA™ Syringe Pump, 61-0046 Mouse Cage with Water Bottle, Counter-Balanced Lever Arm, and a Stainless Steel Swivel. The pump, swivel and lever arm are sold separately.
