CF-2500 Cryostat
Precision freeze-cutting microtome with a 360-degree specimen orientation. It can be set at 1 to 20 µm intervals in 1 µm increments and 20 to 60 µm intervals at 5 µm increments.
Section thickness ranges are adjustable from 1µm to 100 µm. Trimming thickness ranges are adjustable from 10 µm to 400 µm.
The CF-2500 cryostat is a precision fast-freezing cryosectioning microtome that has 360˚ specimen orientation capability and a dual-compressor refrigeration system. Section thickness ranges are adjustable from 1µm to 100 µm. Trimming thickness ranges are adjustable from 10 µm-400 µm.
The well-illuminated, stainless-steel cryochamber of the CF-2500 system utilizes an open-top design to minimize temperature instability during prolonged use. Chamber freezing temperatures can be controlled down to -40°C. The cryochamber also features a CFC-free refrigerant, foam insulation, and automatic programmable defrost functions.
