Perfusion Solution Electrochemical Monitoring for All Isolated Organ Systems

This option permits precise continuous monitoring and measurement of three key parameters, pO2, pH and pCO2, in liquid media or perfusate. Monitoring is accomplished using ion-sensitive, chemosensor-based, flow-through electrodes.

The electrodes require a dedicated pulsation-free peristaltic pump to deliver a constant flow of perfusate through the electrode at flow rates in the range of 0.5 to 2 ml/min. Because of the high impedance of these sensors, screening or shielding of the measuring circuit is required to protect against electrostatic discharges and other electrical disturbances.
